Our Programs

  • In our elementary schools, we lay the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning. Our programming is built on a foundation of high-quality academic instruction, complemented by a vibrant and integrated specials program. Every week, students receive equal access to a rich array of classes in Physical Education, Visual Arts, Music, and Technology, which not only enrich their educational experience but also foster creativity, collaboration, and a well-rounded skill set. This integrated approach ensures a holistic education that supports the development of the whole child.

  • Our middle school curriculum is designed to prepare students for the academic rigor and diverse opportunities that await them in high school. Through a mix of core academic subjects and enriching electives, we focus on developing critical thinking skills, independence, and a growth mindset. A signature program at East Haven Middle School is our Aviation Program, which provides a unique opportunity for students to explore the principles of flight, aerospace technology, and hands-on drone operation, setting them on a course for careers in this rapidly growing industry. We also support all students through our daily W.I.N. (What I Need) block, a dedicated time for differentiated instruction that provides targeted support and accelerated learning opportunities to meet the individual needs of every learner. Our middle school programming is the essential bridge that helps students transition successfully and confidently into their high school careers.

  • At East Haven Public Schools, we are committed to ensuring every scholar graduates with a clear and personalized pathway to success. Our comprehensive high school programs are designed to provide students with a head start on their future, whether they choose to pursue higher education or enter a high-need trade field. We have significantly expanded our Career and Technical Education (CTE) offerings, providing hands-on experiential learning and industry-recognized certifications that prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce. In addition, our robust dual enrollment opportunities allow students to earn valuable college credits while still in high school, saving them time and money. Our students are graduating with the skills and confidence to thrive in a competitive world.
