The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is dedicated to providing every student in East Haven Public Schools with a high-quality, engaging, and equitable educational experience. Our department oversees all academic programming, ensuring that a cohesive, challenging curriculum is delivered across all grade levels.

The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is responsible for developing and implementing a robust Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS) to meet the diverse academic and social-emotional needs of all learners. In commitment to using data to inform instruction and drive continuous improvement, we also manage the district's assessment system. This system includes state assessments, district benchmarking assessments, and common formative and summative assessments.

In addition to our core responsibilities, our office provides leadership for a variety of special programs designed to support and enrich student learning. These include our support for Multilingual Learners, our Talented & Gifted programming, and a comprehensive approach to educator professional learning that ensures our teachers are equipped with the latest research and best practices.
